Sirovasti treatment is done by retaining medicated oil at a bearable temperature within a leather cap wrapped around the head of the patient. The oil is filled within the cap to a level of one finger above the crown of the head. This treatment lasts for about one hour.
“Sirovasti” is found effective in the management of diseases of the head and neck, ENT, and eye diseases mainly. Cervical spondylosis, headache of varied etiology, trigeminal neuralgia, and facial palsy are to name a few.
